TERMS OF SERVICE
Please read the terms & conditions carefully. Your access to & use of any of the services is conditioned on your acceptance of & compliance with these terms.
If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the services.
REGISTRATION AGREEMENT
- This document constitutes and expresses the entire agreement and understanding between the IQ School of Music and the student in reference to all matters herein referred to, all previous discussions, promises, representations and understandings relative thereto, if any, had between the parties hereto, being herein merged.
FEE & OTHER DETAILS
- Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances. However, the fee may be refunded only if “IQ School of Music” fails to start a Course (not applicable for unavoidable instances). Delay in starting of class by a fortnight shall not be considered as not starting.
METHODOLOGY
- All courses have different packages and different fees and are subject to change.
- Every package has maximum number of classes in it –
- 1 month (Special) package: 12 classes
- 3 months package: 36 classes
- 6 months package: 72 classes
- 1 year package: 144 classes
- Generally, classes will be held thrice a week, every alternate day, unless any other class schedule or number of classes are agreed upon in writing.
- Students must finish all the classes given in the package in its time limit. Once a package is over its classes cannot be carried forward. If the student miss a class he must talk to the management and rearrange it within the time limit of the package.
- If the package expires, no further lessons will be provided until the package gets renewed.
- All national and local holidays including off days such as Sundays are included in the package time limit.
- A smaller package cannot be converted to a bigger package. It has to be renewed.
- Registration/Admission to a Course is not transferable to any other individual/entity.
- Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found or offered for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The batch days and timings may be changed anytime.
- Teacher may be changed anytime.
- The student is expected to come to the class prepared (having practiced his lesson) to get the full benefit of the Course and sustain his eligibility for course benefits.
- Students have to follow the lessons plan described by the teacher. Teacher may but is not bound to entertain any specific lessons demand. It totally depends on the discretion of the teacher.
- Study centre is not liable for the quality of the teacher, however we do have control over the lessons provided. So the students learn through a well-established method.
- Students have no entitlement to provide, sell or loan any material, assets, workbooks, notes, etc provided to them, to a third party. If any student finds out about sharing the above said material with anyone else other the teacher or school management then his/her classes will be blocked.
- Cost for the exam fees, study material, assets, workbooks, apps etc. is not included in the package. Student has to pay separately for these if needed be.
- It is the responsibility of the student or student’s parents/guardian to clarify with the management for any confusion which may be out of scope or in the scope of this document before submitting the fees. Study centre is not liable to refund the fees or make any kind of adjustments in such cases.
- Your use of our products and services provided herein is solely for your personal and non-commercial use. Any use of the content other than for personal purposes is prohibited. Your personal and non-commercial use of our services shall be subjected to the following restrictions:
- You will not (a) use our product or service for commercial purposes of any kind, or (b) advertise or sell any products, services or otherwise (whether or not for profit), or solicit others (including, without limitation, solicitations for contributions or donations) or use any public forum for commercial purposes of any kind, or (c) use our products and services in any way that is unlawful, or harms IQ School of Music.
- We may also contact the user through SMS, email, and call to give notifications on various important updates. Therefore, IQ School of Music is non-liable to any liabilities including financial penalties, damages, expenses in case the user’s mobile number is registered with the Do Not Call (DNC) database.
DISCIPLINE–
Students are advised-
2. Are expected to keep the utmost level of discipline. A student should not involve him/herself in disruption/disturbance of teaching students, administrative work, and curricular activity, including any attempt to prevent any staff member of IQ School of Music from carrying on his/her work and any act reasonably like to cause such disruption.
3. Not to involve in damaging or defacing the study centre’s Property, Equipment and Facilities available at the study centre.
4. Students are expected to behave responsibly and help IQ School of Music for better upkeep and maintenance of the property and equipment available at the study centre.
5. The student should not use abusive and derogatory slogans at Intimidator language while they are present at the study centre.
6. Eatables and any type of drinking items are strictly prohibited in the classrooms.
7. Students should keep their mobile phone on silent mode. Staff members of IQ School of Music are empowered to withhold/ confiscate in the interest of other students.
IQ School of Music may levy a suitable penalty or fine a student including cancellation of registration for violation of guidelines.
TRANSFERS
In case a student desires to seek a transfer from one study centre to another, then he/she has to make an application, stating the reasons for the request.
A transfer is Subject to-
- Availability of seats.
- The difference in the Course fee, upon transfers, shall be paid by the student additionally.
PERFORMANCE
1. A student must ensure to attend all the classes/watch the lessons.
2. In an online video course with consulting added the student has to watch the lesson and then send a practice video back to the teacher for review. If any problem in understanding the lesson arises the student must ask the teacher through message or phone call first in the office timings. If the issue can’t be solved only then the live class will be provided online. Responses given by the teacher in a single day will be counted as a class.
3. While IQ School of Music is aimed at enhancing the musicianship of a student, it is essential that the student displays continuing, participative interest and involvement during the classes. Merely joining the IQ School of Music does not assure a high level of musicianship.
STUDENT FEEDBACK & GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
1. In order to improve the quality of services provided to students, IQ School of Music actively seeks, appreciates and acts upon Feedback from students about its services from time to time.
2. Students/Parents can approach the reception, with their queries for assistance guidance. Students/Parents must refrain from talking directly or seeking the phone number of the teacher regarding any issue.
3. Students may take a photocopy of the Registration Form for future reference. IQ School of Music reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including suspension of the students from the classes, in case the student is found not following any rules and regulations at the study centre.
4. IQ School of Music decision in any of the above shall be final and binding.
5. All disputes are subject to Bikaner jurisdiction courts of law.
DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT
I have-
- Read & understand the above and I am aware of the services IQ School of Music shall provide to the students.
- Students provide us the right to use the data and details & no privacy shall be considered in such cases.
- Understood that the student’s performance depends on the continuing/participating interest on his/her part.
- Declare and undertake that you have read and understood the aforesaid terms and will strictly adhere to the same at all times.
- I further agree that I will fully comply with all decisions made by IQ School of Music with regards to the above procedures and understand that the same will not be subject to any review under any circumstances.
